What
is hydrotherapy?
This is physiotherapy in warm water, used mainly for rehabilitation
and pain relief, providing many physical benefits. Usually an assessment
is carried out in the treatment room first.
We offer individual treatments as well as group
sessions for problems such as arthritis, back conditions and Parkinsons
Disease.
Hydrotherapy is carried out in a 20m pool
at a temperature of 32-36°C, accessible via steps or a hoist,
within Pulse 8 Health Club.

Rehabilitation
Pilates
Pilates is an approach aimed at improving postural
awareness, healthy movement patterns and core stability.
We offer courses in Pilates, aimed at those who are recovering
from injury/pain, surgery or postural related problems. The small
classes are run by experienced physiotherapists who can teach,
closely supervise and progress exercises safely and appropriately.
Patients will be assessed prior to starting the classes so that
the therapist can tailor her sessions accordingly. |
